Hey everyone! Today I am sharing my complete wash routine for my 4b 4c natural hair! I have gotten a ton of questions asking how my wash routine for my natural 4b 4c hair has changed since I bleached my natural hair.
So here it is.
Hope you enjoy and remember to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe!
To start my new natural hair wash day i start by doing a olaplex treatment.
This is for people that have bleached or colored their hair so if your natural hair isn't bleached or colored feel free to do a regular pre-poo.
You can watch how I do my regular pre-poos here:
After 20-40 minutes I hop in the shower and rinse out my hair.
Next I use a purple shampoo on the bleached parts of my hair to help tone it and a regular shampoo on my scalp to clean it.
I spend about 5 minutes massaging my scalp and letting the purple shampoo do its things while i help remove and release any build up on my scalp.
After I rinse the shampoo out, I go in with my favorite conditioner and detangle my hair under the running water.
Detangling your natural hair under running water is hands down the fastest and easiest way to detangle 4b or 4c natural hair.
This is saved me soooo much time on my natural hair wash days.
After I am finished detangling, I will get out of the shower and dry my natural hair with a cotton tee-shirt, unlike a regular towel this won't pull or tug on my natural hair strands.
Next, I will go in with my deep conditionar and let that stay in anywhere from 2 -8 hours.
I usually throw it into a bun and go and run errands while I am doing this.
Later, I will rinse out my hair and flat twist it.
I add Aloe Vera, a leave- in conditioner and shea butter the seal each section.
Since it colder outside it takes at least 2 days for my hair to completely dry so I usually throw on a wig for the first half of the week and wear my own natural 4b 4c hair the second half of the week.
At night I will pineapple my hair and just fluff it out the next morning.
